Dalí’s arrival in Blushmirage was not by train, plane, or flamingo caravan—but through the surreal logic of one of his own paintings: “The Elephants.”

🐘 “The Elephants Brought Him Here”

He did not walk, nor ride, nor fly—

He came on legs that touched the sky.

Elephants with spindled grace,

Each bearing dreams in mirrored space.

Their backs held goblets, vast and wide,

Where custard churned and clocks would slide.

One bore a chaise of velvet red,

Where Dalí sat with tilted head.

He sipped from spoons that glowed with truth,

And whispered riddles to his youth.

The dunes of Blushmirage bowed low,

As jelly clouds began to glow.

Gerald the Hat gave formal nods,

While flamingos hummed in velvet squads.

Jellivueve pulsed contemplative mauve,

And time itself forgot to behave.

The elephants knelt, the sky grew still,

Dalí stepped down with feathered will.

No footprints marked his passage near—

Just metaphors, and jelly cheer.

🦩 A Flamingo’s Poetic Response to Dalí’s Visit

By Plinkwhistle, Custard Laureate of the Parliament of Plumage

He came with clocks that wept like moons,

And stirred our geysers with a spoon.

His mustache danced in custard steam,

And made our metaphors convene.

We watched him tilt the feathered air,

And whisper truths we couldn’t bear.

He asked us why the jelly sings—

We answered with our necks and wings.

Now every plume recalls his gaze,

Each custard pool, his sideways praise.

We toast him still, in velvet rows—

To Dalí, where the custard flows.

🪞 Ceremonial Transcript: Parliament of Plumage, Session 7, Custard Geyser Docket

Topic: Recognition of Salvador Dalí’s Visit

Presiding: Gerald the Sentient Hat

Witness of Mood: Jellivueve (glowing mauve)

Opening Statement – Gerald:

“Let it be known that the custard responded favorably to the surrealist. His spoon glowed. His metaphors were filed. His presence was both legally ambiguous and emotionally resonant.”

Motion Proposed – Flamingo Delegate Quivella:

“I move that Dalí be granted honorary plumage and a jelly permit retroactive to the Season of Slight Tilting.”

Debate Highlights:

- The Custard Vizier objected on grounds of spoon flamboyance.

- The Minister of Mirth played a kazoo solo in support.

- Jellivueve shimmered in contemplative mauve, indicating approval.
